Refining the
nuts you use
Our services
& customer care
With us, you get exactly the nuts you need.
Our nuts are individually finished on site at our factory. We take care of everything – from forming and thread cutting to sorting and packaging.
What you stand to gain: We adapt our services to your needs and can assist you individually with our services and expertise. We can perform the following services and many more according to your requirements:
Deformation
With our deformation machines, we are able to produce one-piece lock nuts (solid metal steel and stainless steel). Our flexibility also allows us to meet special requirements, such as the implementation of customer-specific test programs or taking coatings to be subsequently applied into consideration during the production of clamp parts. We use the Biloc, Inloc, Treloc, O-loc and corrugated deformation processes and are also happy to deform special parts.
Biloc:
» Two threaded ends
meaning they can be installed from either direction
» Dimensions M 5 to M 20
» Primarily used for hexagon nuts
Inloc:
» Installation in correct direction necessary,
meaning they can only be inserted on one end, but are easier to unscrew
» Dimensions M 14 to M 24
» Primarily used for large dimensions
Shaft form:
» Installation in correct direction necessary,
meaning they can only be inserted on one end, but are easier to unscrew
» Dimensions M 5 to M 16
» Primarily used for weld nuts
Treloc:
» Installation in correct direction necessary,
meaning they can only be inserted on one end, but are easier to unscrew
» Dimensions M 5 to M 12
» Primarily used for flat hexagon nuts
O-Loc:
» Installation in correct direction necessary,
meaning they can only be inserted on one end, but are easier to unscrew
» Dimensions M 5 to M 20
» Primarily used for flat hexagon nuts
and square nuts
Special parts:
» We are also happy to deform special parts based on your requirements!
Thread cutting
Ever since the company was founded, Wolters has operated its own thread cutting shop. We can cut various threads from M 4 to M 72 as well as larger threads on request. Our extensive stock of nut blanks and taps, including with unusual dimensions and thread designs, allows us to respond quickly to special customer requests.
Sorting
Our optical electronic sorting and testing systems cover a wide range of test criteria. Depending on the requirements, we test both coated and uncoated parts at a rate of 30,000 pieces per hour:
• 360° testing in throughfeed
• Surface tests
• Dimensional accuracy
• Checks for foreign parts
• Material tests
Packaging
We employ state-of-the-art bag and cardboard packaging machines to pack nuts. You can select between:
• Cardboard packaging
• Film bags
• Reusable small parts containers
• Custom labelling
Checks
We attach particular importance to the quality of our goods: In addition to carefully selecting the manufacturers we work with, our products are subject to constant expert inspections starting with the receipt of goods to their final delivery. Trained personnel and state-of-the-art testing and measuring equipment guarantee consistent and reliable quality. We evaluate test results on the basis of our many years of manufacturing experience, analyse deviations and, if necessary, examine them together with our delivery partners to determine any scope for potential improvements.
In addition, we also offer our comprehensive inspection expertise as a service: At our testing laboratory, we can implement customer-specific testing requirements with flexibility and test products thoroughly, regardless of their origin. You can benefit from our expertise even when it comes to the quality assurance of your own products.
Our laboratory test equipment includes::
- Friction force test bench
- Chromium VI testing (e.g. DIN 50993-1)
- Hardness test (e.g. Vickers)
- Running torque (e.g. as per ISO 2320/DIN 267 Part 15)
- Materials analysis (spectral analysis, Belec system)
- Proof load test (e.g. as per DIN 267-4/ISO 898 Part 2)
- Layer thickness (X-ray fluorescence and magnet induction, Fischer system)
- Sorting machines (e.g. 100 % control via image processing)
- Angularity (Kordt system)
- Expansion testing according to DIN 267 Part 21 or DIN EN ISO 10484
- Profile projector
- Surface roughness tester
